As part of our sustainability goals, we are ensuring the efficient use of energy throughout our business, including conserving energy and giving preference to renewable energy sources.
Kurt J. Lesker IV is happy to announce that we installed new solar panels at our expanded manufacturing facility in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, to help reduce our carbon footprint and greenhouse gas emissions. In total 324 panels installed will generate 164 MWh and will approximately supply 15% of our production area's annual energy supply.
